Young students will solve a series of short introductory puzzles, solve different mysteries.
We will work on:
– the structure of a word, from simple to complex, to words with two roots and alternations in the root;
– reading long complex sentences;
– highlighting the main point in a sentence: the main members of the sentence and the essential information;
– working with different ways of presenting information: graphs, tables, infographics with various types of elements;
– phonemic awareness;
– parts of speech, transforming one part of speech into another, practical work with adjectives and verbs in speech;
– presentation skills with reference materials; presentation-lecture, presentation of finished work, presentation of experiment results.
– orientation: where things are located (to the right of, above, between);
– description of objects, appearance, etc.;
– justification of one's opinion;
– writing practices.
