SINGAPORE MATH · U.S. EDITION
Our English-language mathematics classes follow the Singapore Math U.S. Edition approach, internationally known for building a strong foundation in mathematical thinking.
Children learn to understand why a solution works—not simply memorize formulas. Through visual models, mental math, logical reasoning and problem-solving, students learn to break complex problems into manageable steps and approach mathematics with confidence.
The program progresses from concrete understanding to visual representation and finally to abstract mathematical thinking, helping students develop skills they can apply far beyond the classroom.
This class strengthens mathematical understanding by helping students look beyond procedures and recognize the relationships that make mathematics work.
Students learn to approach multi-step problems thoughtfully, organize information, use visual representations and choose strategies that fit the problem. Rather than immediately searching for a formula, they are encouraged to understand what is being asked and determine a logical path toward the solution.
The course supports both accuracy and flexibility, helping students become more independent mathematical thinkers.
Students work through mathematical ideas using visual models, reasoning, discussion and structured problem-solving.
They are encouraged to compare strategies, check whether an answer is reasonable and explain the thinking behind their solutions.
