ABOUT THE CLASS

This class is designed to help children discover that reading in Russian can be enjoyable, imaginative and social.

Stories become a starting point for conversation and creativity. Children talk about characters and events, make predictions, imagine what might happen next and share what they liked, disliked or found surprising.

The emphasis is not only on reading correctly, but on understanding, responding and developing a personal relationship with books and stories in Russian.

HOW WE LEARN

Children read and discuss stories through questions, predictions, imaginative conversation and activities that encourage them to become active participants in the story.

They are invited to wonder, disagree, imagine alternatives and explain their ideas, helping Russian reading become a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
