ABOUT THE CLASS

A warm introduction to the Russian language through the magical world of stories and fairy tales. Children listen to age-appropriate stories in Russian, follow the adventures of familiar and new characters, answer questions, make guesses and learn to talk about what they have heard.

The class helps children move from simply hearing Russian to actively understanding and using it. Stories give new words meaning and context, while conversation encourages children to express their own thoughts in Russian.

HOW WE LEARN
