ABOUT THE CLASS

This art class introduces younger children to the exciting world of shape, color, form and three-dimensional creativity.

Children explore how ideas can be expressed not only on a flat surface, but also through modeling and sculpture. They learn to notice shapes and details, experiment with form and use their imagination to create something uniquely their own.

At this age, artistic exploration is also an important way to build confidence. Children discover that art does not require one “right” answer and that their individual ideas have value.
